Experience

I have been tutoring through WyzAnt for the past 3 years. I have extensive experience tutoring students with special needs (particularly ADHD and specific learning disabilities). I have commonly tutored math of all levels and abilities, including college level statistics. I want to be a tutor because I recognize the importance of students getting extra time and support to internalize and make connections with new content.

I was a 5th grade math tutor of 10 years. I have now transitioned into a role as a Special Education case manager. I spend half of my day providing math and literature interventions, and the other half doing special education case management and progress monitoring. I am a mother of 2 myself, and dedicated and devoted to ensuring that all scholars feel confident.
